Step 1 

• Insert one of the plastic opening tools between the front and back cover and carefully pry around the tablet to separate the front and rear panels. You may need to go around the device several times carefully and evenly applying force for it to separate.

Step 2 

• Once the screen is separated, carefully lift to remove the screen from the back cover and place in a safe area.

Step 3

• Pull the folded white tab in the top right corner to lift the battery out of the back cover.

• Next, use a plastic opening tool to lift up on the battery connector to separate it from the board. Do not pull the wires, if the connector does not easily separate carefully slide the tool between the connector and the board gently lifting the connector away from the board.
