Use this detailed step-by-step repair guide to help you replace the BNTV600 Battery

for Barnes & Noble NOOK HD+ Plus 9" Tablet

Necessary Replacement Parts:

• New BNTV600 Replacement Battery For Nook HD+ Plus

Necessary Replacement Tools:

• Plastic Opening Tools

• T5 Torx Screwdriver

Note: Above tools are included FREE when this replacement battery is purchased from MPF Products.

Step 1

• Using one of the plastic opening tools, gently insert and pry the bottom left hand corner of the front frame away from the screen.
• Carefully pry and remove the frame from the Nook.

Step 2

• Locate and remove all of the screws attaching the chassis to the bottom frame using the T5 screwdriver. Place the screws in a safe location for reassembly later.

  

Step 3

• Slowly pull the back and remove the center chassis from the bottom frame.  There is a cable attaching the battery to the board, be careful to not separate by pulling too hard at this step as it could cause damage.

Step 4

• Use a plastic opening tool, separate the battery from the tablet by gently pulling the white connector up. After this is done you should have 2 separated pieces.

  

Step 5

• Use a plastic opening tool to gently lift up and remove the battery out of the bottom frame plate. To do this insert the tool under the sides and pull up gently.

  

Once the old battery is removed, replace with your

New BNTV600 Replacement Battery For Nook HD+ Plus

(pictured below) and follow steps in reverse order to reassemble.

NOTE: You may need to apply adhesive to the bottom side of the new battery so it remains firmly in place. You can do this using double sided tape or adhesive.
