Perfect fit battery

Even though Garmin says the battery in a Nuvi 700 series cellphone is not replaceable, with this kit it works like a charm.

Our Garmin Nuvi 765T battery wouldn't hold a charge. A few minutes of careful tinkering and it was installed.

Second Times the Charm

OK... here goes. I ordered the unit, and it arrived promptly according to my expectation. It appeared to be the proper unit, and fit the exisiting connector just fine. HOWEVER, when i installed it, it did not work (apparently due to a manufacturing defect in the charging sensor). i connected with the seller, and he promptly directed me on what to do to get it replaced. I repacked the unit, mailed it back, and heard from the seller when it was received. The seller then tested a new unit, and sent it to me promptly. He also refunded the return shipping cost. Upon receipt, I installed the unit and it worked fine during a recent long trip. I probably would have given 5 stars, if the first time had not been a faulty unit.

Kit is complete and the battery was easy to install with the tools provided.
MPF sent me a replacement battery when the unit would not power up....no questions asked.
Turns out the GPS is defective, and they offered a refund for the cost of the battery....that is outstanding !
