Replacing the battery on the Garmin Approach S2 is not trivial and may be a challenge for folks without soldering experience, steady hands, or close-up vision. It takes about 30 minutes, but well worth the time. This battery is inexpensive and the kit contains all of the tools you need to remove the watch back, strap, and double sided tape that holds the old battery in place. Having some shrink wrap and a heat gun is a plus!

Fit exactly into my S2. What you see is what you get. Need skill and patience. You're working in a "watch" with a GPS after all. Good info on the web how to replace it

Never could get the 6 screws out of the back of the Garmin to replace the battery---impossible task!!
