How to Replace the SPR-003 SPR-A-BPAA-CO Battery in your Nintendo 3DS XL RED-001

Necessary Replacement Tools:

• Precision Philips #00 Screwdriver

Step 1

• Using the Philips #00 screwdriver, remove the 2 screws from the back panel.
• The screws have locking washers to prevent the screws from falling off of the back cover. Leave these locking washers on the screws as it is not necessary to remove them for this battery replacement.

  

Step 2

• Remove stylus from compartment.
• Insert the plastic opening tool between the front and back panel, starting at the top right corner. Carefully pry around the device to separate the back panel.
• Remove back panel and set aside.

  

Step 3

• Insert a opening tool into the opening located on the right side of the battery.
• Gently lift up & remove the battery from its casing.
